Before I deployed, I decided to buy a handheld game system to entertain me on the long flight overseas. Since my wife already owned a Nintendo DS, I figured it might be fun to connect whenever I return.

The clerk at the store said the DSi was silver. I desired a silver Gameboy, as I was unaware of a silver Gameboy since the pocket.

When I got it, it was white. How bland. I saw a canvas. So I painted tentacles on it, to mirror my love of the eldritch cthulhu mythos.

Some of the paint has rubbed off whilst deployed.
